Annual Del Norte Quilt-in 2013

This year the fabric is furnished from personal stashes.  Most of the fabric is quilt shop quality. All of the kits will vary due to limited availability.

This is a chance to learn quilting techniques from experienced quilt makers Barbara Gary and Bill Bayes.

 Del Norte 2013 Annual  Quilt-In

You are invited to join us on June 14 or June 15, 2013 at Del Norte Baptist Church Fellowship Hall located at 5800 Montgomery NE from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for an “all day quilt-in.”  The lap-sized project will be machine pieced.  We are limited to 42 participants each day.

 The Quilt-in fee of $25.00 will cover the cost of the pattern and project kit.

 

Members of the Del Norte Quilters will be offering assistance as we spend the day making the 2013 DNBC  quilt top.

  

Supply List

Portable sewing machine in good working order, 3 bobbins wound.

Bring cords and manual. 

Neutral sewing thread

Pins, pin cushion, scissors, pencil, seam ripper, etc.

Rotary cutter with a new blade, small rotary cutting mat (such as 12” x 18”) Rotary cutting rulers 6” or 6 ½” square and a 6” x 12” (or something compatible you own)

Extra light

Chair cushion

Irons and Ironing pads will be furnished. Due to limit on electric current please use ours.

 

For lunch, please bring a brown bag lunch or use the 45 minute break to get lunch at a local restaurant.

5800 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM
Enter on the south side of the church. Watch for signs or listen for the laughter.
